Account Settings
Manage your personal account settings from the Settings page in the My Account section of the sidebar.
Accessing Account Settings
- In the sidebar, find the My Account section
- Click Settings
- You'll see your account information and password change options
Account Information
Your account settings page displays:
- Email - Your login email address (read-only)
- Name - Your display name visible to other members

To update your name, contact your department administrator.
Changing Your Password
You can change your password directly from your account settings:
- Navigate to My Account > Settings in the sidebar
- In the Change Password section, enter:
- Your current password
- Your new password
- Confirm your new password
- Click Update Password
Forgot Your Password?
If you've forgotten your current password and can't sign in:
- Sign out (if signed in)
- On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password
- Enter your email address
- Check your email for a reset link
- Click the link and set a new password
Theme Preferences
ResponderOne supports light and dark modes.
To change your theme:
- Click the theme toggle in the header
- Choose Light, Dark, or System (follows your device settings)
Your preference is saved and applied across all devices.
Multiple Departments
If you belong to multiple departments:
- Each department has its own settings and branding
- Your role may be different in each department
- Resources are separate per department
- Your login credentials work across all departments
To switch between departments:
- Click the ResponderOne logo in the navigation
- Select a different department from your list
Signing Out
To sign out:
- Click your profile or account menu
- Select Sign Out
For security, sign out when using shared or public devices.
