Account Settings

Manage your personal account settings from the Settings page in the My Account section of the sidebar.

Accessing Account Settings

  1. In the sidebar, find the My Account section
  2. Click Settings
  3. You'll see your account information and password change options

Account Information

Your account settings page displays:

  • Email - Your login email address (read-only)
  • Name - Your display name visible to other members

To update your name, contact your department administrator.

Changing Your Password

You can change your password directly from your account settings:

  1. Navigate to My Account > Settings in the sidebar
  2. In the Change Password section, enter:
    • Your current password
    • Your new password
    • Confirm your new password
  3. Click Update Password

Forgot Your Password?

If you've forgotten your current password and can't sign in:

  1. Sign out (if signed in)
  2. On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a reset link
  5. Click the link and set a new password

Theme Preferences

ResponderOne supports light and dark modes.

To change your theme:

  1. Click the theme toggle in the header
  2. Choose Light, Dark, or System (follows your device settings)

Your preference is saved and applied across all devices.

Multiple Departments

If you belong to multiple departments:

  • Each department has its own settings and branding
  • Your role may be different in each department
  • Resources are separate per department
  • Your login credentials work across all departments

To switch between departments:

  1. Click the ResponderOne logo in the navigation
  2. Select a different department from your list

Signing Out

To sign out:

  1. Click your profile or account menu
  2. Select Sign Out

For security, sign out when using shared or public devices.
