Account Settings

Manage your personal account settings.

Updating Your Profile

Your profile information is visible to other members in your department.

Full Name

Your name appears in:

  • The member list
  • Activity logs (future feature)
  • Team communications

To update your name, edit your profile from the account menu.

Changing Your Password

To change your password:

  1. Sign out of your current session
  2. On the sign-in page, click Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your email for a reset link
  5. Click the link and enter your new password

For security, password changes require email verification.

Theme Preferences

ResponderOne supports light and dark modes.

To change your theme:

  1. Click the theme toggle in the header
  2. Choose Light, Dark, or System (follows your device settings)

Your preference is saved and applied across all devices.

Multiple Departments

If you belong to multiple departments:

  • Each department has its own settings and branding
  • Your role may be different in each department
  • Resources are separate per department
  • Your login credentials work across all departments

To switch between departments:

  1. Click the ResponderOne logo in the navigation
  2. Select a different department from your list

Signing Out

To sign out:

  1. Click your profile or account menu
  2. Select Sign Out

For security, sign out when using shared or public devices.
