Branding & Settings

Customize your department's appearance in ResponderOne.

Administrator Access Required

Only users with the Administrator role can modify settings.

Accessing Settings

  1. Navigate to Settings under the Admin section of the sidebar
  2. You'll see the department settings form

Department Name

The department name appears throughout the platform:

  • Dashboard and navigation
  • Mobile app header
  • Member invitations

To change your department name:

  1. Edit the Department Name field
  2. Click Save Changes

Upload your department's logo to personalize the experience.

Recommended specifications:

  • Format: PNG, JPG, or SVG
  • Aspect ratio: Square or horizontal works best
  • Size: At least 200x200 pixels for clarity

To upload a logo:

  1. Click on the logo upload area
  2. Select your image file
  3. Crop the image if needed
  4. Click Save to confirm

The logo appears in:

  • The navigation sidebar
  • The mobile app
  • The department selection screen

Brand Colors

Customize the color scheme to match your department's branding.

Primary Color

The main brand color used for:

  • Buttons and interactive elements
  • Links and highlights
  • Mobile app accent color

Secondary Color

A complementary color used for:

  • Secondary buttons
  • Background accents
  • Visual variety

To change colors:

  1. Click the color picker for Primary or Secondary color
  2. Enter a hex code or use the color picker
  3. Click Save Changes

Use your department's official colors for a consistent brand experience. If you're unsure, check your department's style guide or official documents.

Saving Changes

After making changes:

  1. Review your updates in the preview (if available)
  2. Click Save Changes
  3. Changes take effect immediately across the platform

Best Practices

  • Use a clear, recognizable logo - Members should immediately recognize your department
  • Choose readable colors - Ensure good contrast between text and backgrounds
  • Keep it professional - The branding appears in all official contexts
  • Test on mobile - Check how your logo looks in the mobile app
