Dashboard Overview

Understanding the ResponderOne dashboard interface.

The dashboard has two main areas:

Located on the left side of the screen, the sidebar is organized into collapsible sections for easy navigation.

My Account​

This section is available to all users and contains:

  • Home - Your department dashboard
  • Resources - View published resources
  • Settings - Your personal account settings (password, profile info)

Entity Management (Administrators Only)​

This section is only visible to administrators:

  • Resources - Create, edit, and publish resources
  • Members - Invite and manage team members
  • Settings - Department configuration and branding

Click on a section header to expand or collapse it. This helps keep your sidebar organized, especially if you're an administrator with access to both sections.

Help & Support​

At the bottom of the sidebar, you'll find a Help & Support link that opens the ResponderOne documentation in a new tab.

Top Header​

The header contains:

  • ResponderOne logo - Click to return to your dashboard home
  • Theme toggle - Switch between light and dark mode
  • Sign out button

User Roles​

ResponderOne has two user roles:

Member​

  • View published resources
  • Access the mobile app
  • View department information
  • Manage personal account settings

Administrator​

  • All member permissions, plus:
  • Manage and publish resources
  • Invite and manage team members
  • Configure department settings and branding

Mobile Navigation​

On smaller screens, the sidebar collapses into a mobile menu accessible from the header. Tap the menu icon to open the sidebar and access all navigation options.
